Day 1 Tehran
The traditional Persian welcome at Tehran Airport upon arrival.
Day 2 Tehran- Kerman
Morning tour of Tehran followed by an afternoon flight to Kerman, a land
of both mountains and deserts in a beautiful natural setting.
Day 3 Bam & Mahan
Full day tour of Bam and Mahan.
Day 4 Kerman- Yazd
Morning tour of Kerman followed by a drive to Yazd with a visit to an old
Caravanserai en route.
Day 5 Yazd
Morning tour of Yasd includes the Towers of Silence. Evening, free to
explore the narrow streets of Yazd, which is the most indigenous Persian
town in modern day Iran.
Day 6 Pasargadae & Shiraz
Morning depart for Shiraz via Pasargadae, the capital of Cyrus the Great.
Day 7 Persepolis
Full day tour of Persepolis and Naghsh-e-Rostam.
Day 8 Shiraz- Isfahan
Morning tour of Shiraz. Afternoon free to enjoy at the bazaars or the many
gardens Shiraz has to offer. In the evening fly to Isfahan.
Day 9 Isfahan
“Half of the world is Isfahan” – full day tour of this magnificent city.
Day 10 Isfahan- Tehran
Continue touring Isfahan. Afternoon free for shopping.
Day 11 Tehran
An enlightening drive to Tehran with stops at Kashan, Qum and the Tomb of
Ayatollah Khomeini.
Day 12 Tehran
Today you continue your tour of Tehran.
Day 13 Tehran
Day at leisure. Optional tour to the Crown Jewels Museum.
Day 14 Tehran
This morning depart after what will have been an inspiring acquaintance
with the Persian Civilization and the people who make modern day Iran. A
Passage to Persia will offer an interesting continuity from Persia to
modern day Iran.
